Good Samaritan Pet Center

Good Samaritan Pet Center is a 501(c) 3 non-profit animal rescue organization that provides a “shelter alternative” for homeless animals throughout the Metro area. We are a network of foster parents who care for these animals until a permanent home can be found.  Our mission is to promote healthy relationships between people and their pets. Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue

The Paw Project:

The Paw Project coordinated the successful efforts to prohibit declawing in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Berkeley, Culver City, and Burbank have approved declaw bans. West Hollywood passed the nation's first, Paw Project-sponsored, declaw ban in 2003.

Urban Cat League

Provides care and protection to New York City's street cats by helping to find the best situation for each cat that comes under our care.  This includes adoption, spay/neuter, socialization of kittens and adults and relocation to a safer outdoor location. Most importantly, Urban Cat League evaluates what best suits the interests of the individual cat or colony of cats in question.
