CU AT THE LONGMONT PUBLIC LIBRARY: ANIMAL EMOTIONS AND WHY THEY

MATTER

 Research in cognitive ethology- the study of animal minds-  and common

sense indicate that animals are emotional, compassionate, empathic and moral

beings. Professor Emeritus Marc Bekoff will talk about moral behavior in animals

and the details of social-play behavior especially in dogs, coyotes and

wolves.

Thursday, Nov. 10, 7 p.m. Free and open to the public. Longmont Public Library,

409 4th Avenue.
