Contest Rules, Terms and all the fine print

You must read the following rules, terms and legal conditions before submitting any photos!

What is the theme of the contest?
 It's all about fine guys and the fabulous feline this time!

 How does it work?
  1. To be eligible, photos that are added to the Fine Guys and Felines album on our Facebook page from 12:01am Wednesday, July 6th, 2011 until 11:59pm Tuesday September 6, 2011 (MST).  No other methods will be accepted.
  2. The picture to earn the most likes by 11:59pm Tuesday, September 6, 2011 will win the prize listed below (MST).
  3. To vote for a photo you must click 'LIKE' for the photo you are voting for in the Fine Guys and Felines album.
  4. Photo with the most 'LIKES' will be the winner (think of likes as votes). Comments permitted, but WILL NOT count towards the total number of votes.
  5. One entry per Feline Alliance Facebook fan.
  6. Include the fine guy’s name as well as the name of the cat.
  7. Voting will close on 11:59pm Tuesday, September 6, 2011 (MST).
  8. Official winner will be notified and announced no later than Tuesday, September 13, 2011 (MST).
How To participate.
  1. Log into your Facebook account.  If you do not have an account, you can sign-up for free at facebook.com. After logging in, confirm your information and upload your images using the mechanism provided.
  2. If you aren’t a fan already, “Like” Feline Alliance, link: Facebook
  3. We will contact winner(s) via Facebook to get contact information to send you your prize.
Tips.
 You CAN campaign for votes, but any “LIKES” on a post other than the contest picture will not be counted.

 To get more votes from your friends, after you have posted your picture on Feline Alliance’s contest photo album, click share under your picture and it will be posted to your profile.

 Invite your friends to like the Feline Alliance page and like (vote) for your photo. You can use the "suggest to friends" option in the right column.

 What you will win.
 The photo that receives the most 'LIKES' will be highlighted in the next e-newsletter issue of Feline Forum, and will also receive a $50 gift card to King Soopers OR Amazon.com.  The winner will be asked to choose which one of the two they would prefer.

 Prize cannot be altered or changed in any way, and not redeemable for cash.

 Fine Print and Legal Stuff.
 Entrant represents and warrants to Feline Alliance that:
  1. He/she is over 18 years of age and a legal resident of the U.S. or the District of Columbia OR he/she is the parent or legal guardian of the child in the photograph submitted.
  2. He/she has all of the rights and authority necessary to submit the photograph for entry in the contest in compliance with these rules, including the right to publish the photograph, and the right to grant the Promotion Release set forth below.
  3. The publication of the photograph will not infringe on the rights of any third party.
People using ANY language deemed inappropriate by Feline Alliance administrators will be deleted & disqualified.

 Acceptance.
 By accepting this prize, the winner also acknowledges that Feline Alliance and/or its affiliated companies may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).

Legal Conditions.
By entering this contest, you agree to certain all of the terms and conditions relating to this contest and you are responsible for understanding the terms and conditions listed in this information.  By entering, participants agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Feline Alliance, its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents and representatives, from any and all third party liability for any injuries, loss, claim, action, demand or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest (collectively, "Losses"), including without limitation any third party claim for copyright infringement or a violation of an individual’s right to privacy and/or publicity right. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

 Each entrant in the Contest (each a "Entrant") is responsible for ensuring that he or she has the right to submit the photos that he or she submits to the Contest per these rules.  

 The Contest and the Feline Alliance’s web site are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.  

 By submitting an entry and participating in the Contest, entrant, for him/herself and on behalf of the child, irrevocably transfers, grants and assigns to Feline Alliance, its affiliates and its respective successors, assigns, and licensees, the right worldwide and in perpetuity, to use the name, likeness, image and photographs, including any reproductions of same, in any and all media including, without limitation, use on the Feline Alliance’s Website, our Facebook Fan Page and promotional emails in connection with the Contest or other promotions, for any advertising or promotional purposes without additional compensation, and releases Feline Alliance and any entity acting on behalf of Feline Alliance from any liability with respect thereto. In addition, the photo and caption may be used in promotional emails, site promotions etc.

 Feline Alliance is not responsible for lost, misdirected or delayed entries.  Feline Alliance is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the photo contest, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions to the photo contest, including but not limited to any misprints or typographical errors.

Feline Alliance assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Feline Alliance is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, servers, providers, computer on-line systems, software, or failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, including injury or damage to participant's or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or uploading images or information in the photo contest.

 If, for any reason, the photo contest is not capable of completion as planned, including but not limited to, any reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Feline Alliance that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the photo contest,

Feline Alliance retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of the prize for any reason whatsoever, and reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the photo contest.
